Confirm the system name

Rithmic accounts can belong to different systems and gateways. Using the wrong system is one of the fastest ways to get a login rejection even when the username and password are correct.

Verify the account ID

Many traders have several evaluations or funded accounts under one login. The copier needs the exact account returned by the broker route, not just the username.

Check order permissions

A connection that can log in or read positions may still lack permission to route orders. Test order routing on a small or paper-safe setup before adding a full follower group.

Watch the first session

During the first live session, monitor leader and follower state together. Confirm entries, exits, and realized P&L records before scaling to more accounts.
